Terms of Service

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SuperLM (the "Extension"), a browser extension developed and operated by Based Works ("Based Works," "we," "us," or "our"). By installing, accessing, or using the Extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Extension.

The Extension allows you to bridge and import web research, selected text, and URLs into your Google NotebookLM workspace, with optional integrations for ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity. The Extension is provided as a browser add-on for use with compatible browsers and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, or Perplexity AI.

The Extension is offered with a free tier providing core functionality at no cost, and an optional paid subscription that unlocks premium features. You may use the free tier indefinitely without providing payment information. Premium features require creating an account and maintaining an active paid subscription.

Subscription payments are processed through Dodo Payments, a third-party payment processor, directly within the Extension. By subscribing, you authorize Dodo Payments to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis according to the billing cycle you select. We do not store or have access to your full payment card details; this information is handled directly by Dodo Payments in accordance with its own terms and privacy policy.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at neeraj@basedworks.co. Cancellation will stop future billing but will not automatically refund any payments already made, except as set out below.

You may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase or of a renewal charge by contacting us at neeraj@basedworks.co. Refund requests made after 7 days from the relevant charge will not be honored, except where required by applicable law. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method via Dodo Payments and may take several business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.

You agree to use the Extension only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not use the Extension to violate the terms of service of any third-party website or platform that the Extension interacts with, including NotebookLM, ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Extension complies with the terms of those platforms.

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or create derivative works of the Extension, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law. You also agree not to use the Extension to scrape, collect, or redistribute data from third-party websites in violation of those websites' terms of service or applicable law.

If you create an account to access premium features, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly at neeraj@basedworks.co if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Extension, including premium features, if you violate these Terms, misuse the Extension, or engage in activity that we reasonably believe is fraudulent, abusive, or harmful to us or other users. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before suspending or terminating paid access, except in cases of serious or repeated violations.

The Extension integrates with third-party websites and services that we do not control, including NotebookLM, ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or functionality of these third-party services, and any changes they make to their platforms may affect the Extension's functionality without notice from us.

The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every browser version or website you may use it with.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Based Works shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Extension. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Extension shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Extension's functionality, pricing, or applicable law. We will post any changes on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Extension after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the Extension and cancel any active subscription.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Extension shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
